Family Law Mediation We are qualified through the Law Society of B.C. to provide Family Law Mediation Services. Mediation is a way to try and resolve disputes outside of the traditional court system. The court process is adversarial in nature whereas mediation is a non-adversarial process where a trained mediator assists the parties in arriving at a resolution that all parties decide is an appropriate resolution for them.
Mediation is well suited to Family Law disputes because the process will not take as long as the court process which could be years. Mediation helps people negotiate a settlement on the basis of their needs and interests so that everyone can win in the end.Mediation Guidelines |
